If you achieve a mark of below the pass mark for any of your assessments, it is possible that you will be required to undertake a reassessment, also known as a resit, during the summer reassessment period.

About Reassessments

This is a summary of key information, refer to the progression and award information for further details.

  • You will be informed if you are required to undertake any reassessments and the specific details of your task when you receive your final results report.
  • You will complete a resit for any assessment where your mark was below the pass mark:
    • 40% Undergraduate Assessments

  • You will only be reassessed once for any failed module; if you failed an assessment but passed its respective module, you will not be reassessed for that failed assessment.
  • Resit assignments briefs may differ to the original task.
  • Reassessments will take place during the designated summer reassessments period, dates below, or see the academic calendar.
  • There is no late submission period for reassessments, if you do not submit your resit work by the stipulated deadline you will receive a mark of zero.
