Liverpool Sound City 2025: Performance Opportunities (now closed)

We are excited to announce our performance opportunities at Sound City Festival, taking place across Liverpool from 3rd-4th May 2025.

We are looking for current Leeds Conservatoire student bands or artists (all pathways and years) to apply, as well as those that graduated from the Conservatoire in 2024.

You would receive a free weekend pass to the festival, including the conference on May 2nd. Depending on logistics, the Conservatoire will either arrange transport to and from the festival, or make a contribution towards artists’ expenses.

Application window: Monday 28th October – Monday 18th November.

Applications will close at 12pm on Monday 18th November. Late submissions cannot be accepted.

Applications will be reviewed as quickly as possible, and successful applicants will hopefully be notified by Friday 20th December.

If you’re successful, performances will take place at a time TBC across the weekend. You must be able to commit to these dates in advance.

In order to make our involvement with these festivals as successful as possible, you must be willing to work with Leeds Conservatoire around any promotional activities associated with the festival. A hard-working and positive attitude from any musician involved is essential.
