About Your Students’ Union

Student life is more than just your course – Leeds Conservatoire Students’ Union is here to enrich your Conservatoire experience with events, societies, opportunities, student voice and extracurricular activities.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 4:30pm
Office: Room 437 – St Peters’ Square

Societies

Societies are formed by students and run for students. Joining a society is a brilliant way to meet new people, pursue and existing hobby or try something completely new! New societies can spring up throughout the year, whilst others have existed for years and become tradition.

Start A New Society

Got an idea for a new society? Here’s what to do:

Step 1, the idea. Step 2, find your team. Step 3, fill in the application form and send to the SU email. Step 4, have a meeting with the SU office team. Step 5, complete tasks and report back. Step 6, societiy approved. Expected completion time, 1 to 2 months.

Student Council 2025

Find out who this year’s student reps are and how you can get in contact.

Our SU Council Reps are here to represent you by bringing your voice to meetings and committees, creating opportunities and events for their communities, and voting on key SU and Leeds Conservatoire decisions.

If you’d like to contact a specific rep, just email StudentUnion@Leedsconservatoire.ac.uk and include the rep’s name in the subject line. We’ll make sure your message gets to the right person.
